The Academy of Korean Studies (AKS) is inviting submissions for the Understanding Korea Contest 2026 under the theme “Korea Reaching Classrooms Worldwide: Accurately Understanding, Accurately Teaching.”

The contest seeks high-quality teaching and learning materials related to Korea, including lesson plans, worksheets, and visual educational content on Korean history, culture, society, economy, and more.

Eligibility: Foreign nationals and overseas Koreans
Submission Period: June 1 – July 31, 2026, by 18:00 KST
Submission Language: Korean or English

Result Announcement: September 30, 2026 tentative
